The Children's Ministry at Greenridge theme is based on Ephesians 2:10... every child is a masterpiece made by God. It is our goal as the Children's Ministry Team to honor the Creator and His masterpieces in all that we do! We hope that you'll take the opportunity to check out some of our options for your child below.
Sunday Morning Programs
- Kids Praise and Worship (9:20-10:45am)
Children in grades K-5 can come and join us for an exciting time of worship. The service includes music, drama, a "kid-size" message and other special "spotlight" activities. Children also have a chance to meet with their friends in age-graded small groups to discuss what they have learned. KPW is a great opportunity for children to worship God in their own special way!
- PromiseLand Preschool Care (9:30-10:30am)
Loving childcare provided for infants through 5 year olds. The children enjoy a craft, snack, games, and an exciting look at a Bible story.
- Sunday School (11:00am-12:00pm)
During this hour, we offer age-graded classes for all children (birth through grade 5) that make learning about God's love exciting! Each Sunday, our Children's Ministry Team presents creative lessons where children can truly "learn through doing."
Wednesday Night Learning Groups - 6:45-7:45pm *ONLY DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR*
- Nursery (birth-1 year olds)
Little ones learn early on that Jesus made them wonderfully through play, pictures, and loving words.
- Faith Kids (ages 2 & 3)
Faith is an adventure... in life and in Faith Kids! Children learn Bible stories, share and pray, and enjoy creative crafts, games, and snacks that support the Bible story for the evening.
- Team Kid (ages 4 & 5 and Kindergarten)
Your child will discover "adventure trails" that lead to a better understanding of Jesus and who He made us to be. Snacks, games, crafts, Bible stories, puppet sketches, and so much more!
- GA's (Girls in Action) (grades 1-5)
GA's are real girls doing real things to help reach others with God's love. They learn about God and sharing His love through Bible stories, learning about missions, planning/going on field trips, making fun crafts, and playing games.
- Boys Brigade (grades 1-5)
Boys Brigade is a scouting-type ministry that includes fun and games, sharing and praying, and adventure stories with a spiritual message. Boys work on craft projects such as pinewood derby and model rocketry, participate in service projects, and experience memorable camping experiences. Dads always welcome!
