SERVING IN OUR COMMUNITY
Thank you for your interest in serving with Greenridge in our Community and World.
We believe that SERVICE is essential to our faith journey
and
that we have a great example of this given to us by Jesus.
(Matthew 25:35-37; Luke 4:18-19)
Community Needs...How can YOU help? Greenridge is contacted regularly about how we can help families in need, often related to a sudden loss. Our congregation is full of resources to help fill these needs! Please email Katie Weigle and tell her if you would like to help in any of the following areas: home repair/construction, clothing, food, child care, job placement, counseling/mentor, financial assistance, or another area you can provide.

C.A.R.E. (Compassionate Assistance = Relationships for Eternity)
After numerous post-Katrina missions trips to New Orleans, many Greenridge members began to see the same type of need in our local community although on a smaller scale. As these folks put their hearts and heads together, they created this ministry that uses actions such as yard clean up, drywall hanging, and painting (to name a few) to reach those in need that are closest to us. This ministry is another way to demonstrate what Jesus commands when He tells us to "Love our neighbors as ourselves." For more information about this ministry, click here. |
