Our name “412 Student Ministry” refers to 1 Timothy 4:12, which says, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
The goal of our Middle School ministry is to lay out what it means to have a spiritual foundation and to learn how to build on it. We want to help students understand what a relationship with Christ is and the commitment it involves.
The High School ministry is designed to help students learn how to walk out their faith by taking the head knowledge they have and putting it into action. We are teaching students how to truly live a Christian life in today's culture. They will also learn to have a faith that is their own and be able to move on to the next step of life, prepared for whatever is to come and knowing where they stand in their own relationship with Christ.
To achieve the goals of both of these ministries, we use a variety of tools to build relationships with the students and help them through the struggles of life in a Christ centered way. In addition to our regular Sunday and Wednesday night programs we use activities such as retreats, bowling, paint ball, organized sports and mission trips to spend time with our students and give them the opportunity to invite friends into the group.
