CLARKSBUrG
C.A.N.

Clarksburg Community Action Network

In partnership with Cedarbrook, Greenridge is proud to host a food pantry located on the lower floor of the Church. Designed to serve those in need of food that live in our local community, anyone that resides in the 20871 zip code in need of food can come and receive. The pantry is supplied largely through donations from our own members along with area restaurants and grocery stores. The pantry is open on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, 5pm-8pm and the first and third Saturdays of the month, 9am-noon. If you have questions or would like more information about donating food or if you are in need of food, please call 240-308-0867 and leave a message.

Smart sacks

Greenridge Baptist Church is one of 54 partners in Manna Food Bank's Smart Sacks program.  The program provides 2860 children in 57 MCPS elementary schools with nutritious food to bridge the gap between Friday and Monday, for families who might struggle with food insecurity over the weekend.  Here at Greenridge, we pack and deliver Smart Sacks weekly for 114 students at 4 elementary schools in Gaithersburg and Clarksburg.  All are welcome to help pack every other Wednesday night at 6:45 pm in the Missions Hall (Formerly LFH), and volunteers to help deliver the bags to school or help pick up food from Manna are always appreciated.

Smart Sacks will begin packing again on January 19.
